Bagshahi Bariatric and General Surgery Welcomes Dr. Laura Lyn Gallagher to Our Practice!

We’re thrilled to welcome board-certified general surgery specialist Laura Gallagher, DO to the Bagshahi Bariatric and General Surgery team! Dr. Gallagher comes to our practice with a wealth of experience in general surgery, hernia repair, and weight loss surgery — particularly, bariatric procedures using endoscopic, minimally invasive, and robotic-assisted techniques. A graduate of the University of North Texas, Dr. Gallagher completed her general surgery residency in 2018. She went on to complete a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Saint Luke’s Hospital. 

Dr. Gallagher has extensive training in weight loss procedures, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, duodenal switch surgery, and the da Vinci^® robotic-assisted surgical system. She prioritizes providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment.
